...explore the origins of the student loan in its various forms. Private loans, subsidized, unsubsidized loans and grants will be defined. It includes research on the current crises of rising student loans statistics of current debt trends. It will cover research from various sources including the Federal Government and its role in the crises such as the (FFEL), (IBR) and (PAYE) Programs as well as the history of the Federal Governments involvement in student loan programs and its impact on education costs will be explored. Research from successful financial planners in America is also included alternative solutions to this growing problem are presented. Suggestions and remedies for stemming the issue of rising student loan costs and loan defaults are explored.
